Can someone please post links to sections where it talks about using magic to reinforce objects (increasing hardness/hp) specifically not weapons or armor, things like a wagon or such.
Preferably some sort of enchanting process making it into a magic item that is just reinforced.

There's a mention for weapons and armor (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment/damaging-objects/) that I remember. If that's all, you should be able to improvise similar rules for other objects.

Well, if you can use third-party, there's harden (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/3rd-party-spells/rite-publishing-3rd-party-spells/h/harden/).

For particularly large things, there is "Magically Reinforced" in the walls section of:

Not exactly enchanting, but I suppose you can use Permanency (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Permanency).
Hardening (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Hardening) looks to be halfway grandfathered from 3.5.
Reinforce Armaments (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Reinforce%20Armaments) is unfortunately weapons and armor only.
Sculpted Cape (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Sculpted%20Cape) for cloaks only.
Shield the Banner (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Shield%20the%20Banner) for 'tribal standards' only.
Rags to Riches (http://aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Rags%20to%20Riches) can increase the hardness of Armor/Weapons/Tools/Skill Kits by 5 for 10 min/level. Frankly that spell is a lot more powerful than I originally thought, just from the line "If the object already has an enhancement bonus, this bonus increases by 1." Might have to start prepping that on some characters.

Protective Ruff (http://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Protective%20R uff) is probably on the path of what you are looking for, at least for personal item protection. Basically, it takes your neck slot (booo!) but 10 damage to your other items goes to the ruff first. Which presumably would get reduced by the ruff's hardness.
Couple that with a Fortifying Stone (http://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Fortifying%20S tone) and you should be sitting pretty good. And then toss Fortifying Stones on all of your other items anyway if you are really paranoid...
Another option is to check for variant items made from different materials, for example Secure Paypack (http://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Secure%20Paypa ck) has a higher hardness of 15 compared to the normal Handy Haversack (http://aonprd.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Handy%20Havers ack)'s 2 for leather or 0 for cloth depending on what you think a normal backpack is made of. Alternatively, have it crafted from Darkleaf Cloth (can replace leather and can be used for clothing) for hardness 10 at 375 gp/lb.
