Subtle spells metamagic... Somatic or verbal...

The wording of the subtle metamagic confuses me.
If I apply one point of sorcery to a spell that has verbal and somatic components do I remove both of those components or just one of the two?
If it's the latter case, can I use two points and remove both?

Its both. Or doesn't make choices mutually exclusive on its own, but it can be confusing.
