This is a little something I whipped up because my favorite art of dragonborn always involves wings and I don't want them to be purely cosmetic.

As a bonus action you can fly up to half your base speed. You do not need to be on the ground to initiate this, but if you end the action without landing or having some other means of staying aloft, you fall.

Also, as a reaction, you can negate falling damage to yourself by using your wings to slow your descent.

If you are above your carrying capacity or wearing armor that requires a higher Strength score than you have, neither use of this trait functions.

Too powerful? Too weak? Just right? It's essentially Dash-as-a-Bonus action that sacrifices distance for versatility, with non-magical Feather Fall tacked on for good measure.

It make sense. For DragonLance it make it more like the Draconians. I would use it.

Would definitely allow any of my players to switch out their breath weapon for this feature.
