The bard, raising his lute into a curious position, much to the joke of the bandits. When he started playing, they were not so humored. As the sounds shook the core of the planet itself. It released such power that the faces of the closest bandits started to melt from the very power of bardic music. Is this it's true power? Shall we ever know.

Those who fail this, are struck with fear, even having seen that the image is false. It still shocks them to the core. They are dazzled, as their souls are in a panic over if it is real or not. Those who fail, are affected by an effect decided by this table. The effect is decided with a roll of 1d4
{table=Effects] Roll|Effect
1|Struck with the spell Fear
2|Blinded for 1d10 minutes

If they fail this save, they die. If they succeed, they take the damage.
.................................................. .................................................. .....

Rain descents down in swathes as the winds descend with the force of a gale. All ranged attacks are treat as being affected by the wind wall spell. And flying becomes impossible. The amount of rain creates flash floods in sloped areas (balance check dc 15 to not be swept up) and reduces range of sight to 60 ft. Lightning strikes down 1d4 times a round, striking a hostile creature chosen by the user. This weather extends to the radius of 500 ft. But the rain and lightning only affect a radius of 150 ft. The lightning deals damage like the Lightning Bolt spell with a caster level equal to the users String Channeler levels + their Charisma Modifier.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
True Channelings:

Unlike the lesser Channelings, the String Channeler can choose to use only one, after that, he can only use this channeling. Using a true Channeling takes 5 Bardic Music attempts.

The True Face Melter: Raising their instrument over their head in a stance of triumph, the very ground under their feet cracks as a red glow envelopes the String Channeler. The user becomes the very embodiment of fiery wrath. Rising to the skies, striking down all those who challenge him with pillars of flame, as if striking with the hammer of a flaming god. This fire does not harm any who the String Channeler does not wish to harm.

The user can opt to forgo his normal melee attacks, and instead cast a number of flame strikes equal to the amount of attacks he gets. the caster level for these is the characters String Channeler levels + 1/2 of his charisma modifier rounding down.

While in this form: The String Channeler has a full base attack bonus. He also gains a +8 bonus to charisma, a fly speed of 30 ft/round perfect. Any who stand within a 15 ft radius emanating from the String Channeler's location on the ground (in a pillar shape) is immediately struck down with pure force. If they fail their save against the Channeling, they take 5d20 fire damage. And must roll a fortitude save or die. Anything killed or destroyed by this effect leaves no remains. The Fortitude save is 10+2+the String Channelers charisma bonus.

The Face Melter form lasts for 1d10+charisma modifier minutes.

The difficulty increase for this Channeling is 10. A failure means that the String Channeler takes 1d20 fire damage and loses the bardic music attempts used.

.................................................. .................................................. ....

The Hellraiser: Spreading your legs apart, taking a stance of balance. Reaching down with your lute. Raising a growl so inhuman, so low that no mortal body could produce it. As you growl, the very earth buckles as the legions of hell rise from their graves. Calling to an un-natural power, you raise 1d100 medium Human Skeletons, and 1d100 Human Zombies. Optionally, if on land with Desecrate cast on it. The character can instead summon 1d2 Nightwalkers. These un-dead follow the character for 1d20 days or until destroyed. Each day, these un-dead suffer from a cumulative -1 bonus on turning checks. The un-dead are spread out over the nearest free spaces around the user that are on the ground. All evil aligned characters' weapons gain +2d6 damage against Good aligned characters.
.................................................. .................................................. ....
Holy Thunderforce: Letting out a harmonic bellow of un-seen might. The Harmonics tapping into the very power of the Angels themselves. You summon 2d20 Hound Archons, they gain 5 levels of Paladins, and are armed with a +2 Holy Longsword. All your Good aligned allies within Range gain +8 to all checks and rolls. They also gain +10 movement speed, and +4 to all stats. Their weapons also gain the Holy enchantment. This bonus is un-typed. The archons also receive these powers. The class itself is done. I'll fix any balance issues. I'll be doing a total of 4 Lesser Channelings, 4 Moderate Channelings, and 3 True Channelings. Everyone is free to make their own. As long as they are true to the flavor of the class.

Lesser Face Melting seems abit overpowered, but otherwise, all I'm going to say is this...
ROCK ON!

Heh...axe proficiency. I was thinking of making a bard PrC that used the power of the stars to improve his musical abilities, but I like this.

You should probably include a Person Charming Flavor Ability that makes a person go make jackets with Born to Rune on the back and studded leather pants

Far too few skills to warrant even 4+Int, and 5+Int is unheard of. If they only have 7 skills, it's 2+Int - And Bards are generally decent Int.

Believe it or not no :P

I actually got the idea while listening to Rhapsody.

And due to a massive slip-up. I'll add the bonus feat list >.<

And with the last channeling added. I proclaim this finished. All balance problems and such shall be fixed. But no new stuff is going to be added.

Does this class have anything to do with "The Band with Rocks In" from the book Soul Music?

No, but I felt that the title was appropriate.
