What is the highest level stance that a level 4 Warblade can have?
I'm wondering because if I'm right I have to get another level 1 stance all of which suck.

Yep, pretty much. You're entitled to 2nd level stances, and none exist.

I resent that fact so much :smallfurious:.

At fourth level, you have access to second level maneuvers. You can determine your maximum maneuver level with this equation:

$Max_Maneuver_Level = (Initiator Level/2)+1

Unfortunately, there are no second-level stances. One can delay this stance acquisition by multiclassing, though.

Unlucky you. Listen to me, ye of broken faiths. Take swordsage till you get step of the dancing moth from Shadow Hand. Enter supreme abuse of every possible ranged 'neuver.

Also try: Balance on the Sky + Clever Positioning + a cliff, pit, or other hazard.

Or ask your DM to change Desert Wind to acid or water damage, and you'll be able to use a water inferno blast hovering above your opponents. Using that and and wyrm's flames water version, I killed said Pseudonatural Paragon Tarrasque. Alone. The only use for other guys was a wish.

Uh... (4 / 2) + 1 = (2) + 1 = 3

What we're going for is Floor((Initiator Level + 1) / 2).

Right, right. I always mix that up.
