Hey there. I am about to play a scholar in our next game, someone who should know a lot about the history and religion of the world. I was wondering if there is a reference paper somewhere about the mayor gods in the DnD setting. I know most of them, but I often need just a little hint to remind me or to prevent myself from mixing them up. For some reason I always confuse Lathander and Ilmater for example. And, is there perhaps also possible to find similar papers for historical events?

Anyone able to point in the right direction? Seems my google fu is weak. I was planning on printing it on some finepaper and making a scroll of it all.

the available gods vary by setting, but Appendix B in the PHB has a list of the main deities

SCAG's subchapter "The Gods of Faerūn" is pretty neat, with multiple pantheon tables and some individual descriptions.

MToF expands on the gods of dwarves and elves.

That little table in SCAG was just what I needed. Superb!
