My group is looking to play a sci-fi game. So I came across Esper Genesis and Dark Matter. Now we play 5e and after looking at both of them I like Dark Matter a little more and was wondering how balance DM is.

If it's the same Mage hand Press that runs the Middle Finger of Vecna website, then they're pretty solid.

That is indeed them, yeah.

And yes, I agree. I have played some of their regular 5e stuff, and have found it to be both well made and balanced.

I think it's fairly balanced to let a Mage Hand press stuff like buttons, it's basically what it's for.

I think it's pretty alright.

I mean...in my “completely unbiased” opinion Dark Matter’s pretty cool.

We’ve also done a lot of play testing to make sure it’s balanced.
