hi everyone,

I have an evil order of monks that have discovered immortality. I basically took the Wight and added levels of Monk.

What inter-dimensional (non fiend) dark master can they follow?

I do not wish to use a devil or demon.

Thank you in advance!

Lol, thank you for bringing that back. I have not watched those in so long. I fell that a rabbit hole in youtube.

But seriously, any creatures from the monster manuel? I was thinking maybe a dragon.

Maybe a Rakshasa?

Eberron “deity/cult” The Mockery. It is mostly filled with Monks that like to fillet the skin off of their victims

I should probably invest in that book one of these days.

I was reading on them...I might go with that. Thank you!

You could have (some of) the monks ritualistically remove their hands and then have a magic using cultist reattach them backwards as extra creep factor.

Another option (though I really like the Raksasha and the backwards hand thing) would be an ogre mage.

What about a Fallen Angel? An evil Planetar or Solar might provide an interesting Grand Master for your order of evil monks.

How about a wight with levels in monk(a regular wight that later progressed as a monk) that can then hide among its followers?
Or a non-intelligent mystical being and the monks does not have a monastery but instead follows this creature(they do not sleep because they are wights so they mostly do not need camps).
