I am trying to make a character that can make objects or living beings lighter is there a spell you more experienced players or DMs can think of?

Not precisely... Feather Fall, Levitate, Enlarge/Reduce, Tenser's Floating Disk, Enhance Ability (Str) can all do something along those lines, but not exactly that.

We can use mold earth as a template, since it's another minipulate object type cantrip, and create a cantrip from scratch.

5 feet cube
Reduce weight
1 minute duration
The target has advantage on Athletics checks, and all creatures have advantage on strength checks to manipulate the target.
If the target is lighter than x it hovers.

So a creature with reduced weight is easier to shove, grab etc, but the target also has advantages on climb and jump.
Objects are more easily carried or moved.

This allows for most uses I can think of, just needs a clean write up.

Why do you want to reduce things' weight?

If we know the goal, maybe we can suggest a path to it.

Mage hand can lift 10 pounds. Therefore if it tries to pick something up, it would make it 10 pounds lighter

The Light cantrip?

I said it as a joke but I know a DM who actually adds a feature to the light cantrip. It cuts the weight of an object in half.

P.S. Your title would be a lot less confusing with a comma or a period in the middle.
