Hi,

I build a cleric and I want to use a Full Plate. When I check here, https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Full_Plate_Armor
it says that the full plate give +8 armor.

But when I check on this guide: http://bg-archive.minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=420.0
in the equipment section, or the armor, they comments the full plate with:

Standard Cleric issue. Remember, use the best of what you have. +13 Armor bonus is better than just about anything else. Not to mention you can add all kinds of cool enhancements to it.

I never played a cleric, what are the things that make it +13?

Thanks for the information and have a nice day.

it's probably just a reference to one having a +5 enhancement bonus, for a total +13 (either as part of the armor directly, or via the spell Magic Vestment)

The +13 comes from combining full plate with the spell magic vestment (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/magicVestment.htm). At caster level 20, this spell (only 3rd level!) grants a +5 enhancement bonus to your armor bonus, so 8+5=13. This lets you save a lot of money, because +5 armor is expensive.
