Because my 6th level gnome illusionist was raised in a clan focused on technology, he has 6 ranks in Craft(mechanics). That gives him a skill mod of 12, with gusts up to 17 with Magecraft.
This is mostly for background, but does anybody have an idea of any useful items he could build? If necessary, he could apply Shrink Item to it, which expands the possibilities into a reasonable level of microtech.
I'd like to come up with something clever and unusual.
