Well, it's a robot, programmed to think it's a werewolf.
Hey, that would be really cool...

I think that if the robots had auto targeting systems and any kind of ranged weapon they could decimate the werewolves.

On the other hand werebots would only function when the moon is full making them less usefull than regular "bots".

"Robots" is such an ambiguous term.

Are we talking about Asimov robots?
Star Wars robots?
Transformers?
Cylons?
Sentinels? (Marvel or Matrix)

Etc.

Transformers. Because they would win.

Um...robots. Because if the two went head to head...

A. Robots would not wear out or give up at the change of the moon.
B. Werewolves would not know how to remove a robots batteries. They'd be puppies attacking the steel cage.
C. Using example B, except that the steel cage fights back.
D. Robots, using their knowledge of everything download able, would simply find silver to kill the werewolves with.
E. Terminator. 'Nuff said.

No, Some of the robot would have to be human... Like a friend of mine. He's half Decepticon, half vampire. Then he got bit by a werewolf a few months back. Now he's a got lycanthropy... We pray he doesn't die and become a lich, We don't think he's got enough room on his character sheet to add anymore templates.

As for the robot v.s. werewolves. Kefka would win. Right after zombies won.

Well, according to Futurama, robots can be turned into Werecars. From the Project Satan episode. Of course, to kill them you have to jam a silver potato into the tailpipe.

No, Some of the robot would have to be human...

But then it wouldn't be a robot. It'd be a cyborg. Which could still kick werewolf butt.

Robots would win, hands down. Titanium metal outer casings for the win.

And lasers. Gotta love them lasers.

Now the respective bad things

Werewolves

Only at full power under full moon
Need a lot of food
Vunerable to silver

Robots

Preporgarmed tactics
Need a lot of electricty
Vunerable to rusting

Saberwulf from Killer Instinct would unify the two opposing forces and they would overrun the world.

You know, after thinking about it I realized that werewolves and robots are similar. Werewolves have claws, robots can have claws. Werewolves can jump high, robots can use rocket feet. You know, in many ways werewolves are natures robots.

Werewolves bleed...
Robots leak...

Werewolves die from Silver
Robots die from....magnets maybe? (And not from rust. You're thinking the tin man from the wizard of oz. :smalltongue: )

um, where was I. Oh yeah, comparisons....

Robots are very strong
Werewolves are very strong

Robots can survive in space
Werewolves..are very strong. :smallamused:

I say we go for WoD werewolves, most plusses.

They can regenerate, but fire and silver stops that, as do chemical warfare. However, WoD werewolves are very strong and in most cases (I had an athsmatic werewolf for a while in a WW game a while back.) Are very hard to wear down even with the proper countermeasures.

As for robots, I say we use the T-101 as a standard, bulletproof, lots of redundant systems, and knowledge of nearly every weapon ever made.

Make of that what you wish.

In a fight between Werewolves and Robots, the winner would be...Joss Whedon. Because, as clearly shown by Firefly, he is a god.

If the werewolves had any brains they would upload windows vista into the robots and let them system error themselves to death.

Sorry, but what the hell could a werewolf do to a well-built robot? Scratch its paint job?

Wolves and dogs are genetically the same. Ever seen a dog pee against electrics? (Never intentionally)

Plus narrative causality dictates that the underdog (ouch sorry) always finds a weakspot. It's just like the wheel bouncing away down the road after any kind of smash. It will just happen.
