On the April calendar page, one demon roach says, "I guess that's one way to make a psionic goblin!" and the other replies, "Oof, that joke is a deep cut, even for us."

.... I don't get it.

Why is it a psionic goblin? Just the color? :smallconfused:

It's also a deep cut because a psionic goblin appeared in a cutaway joke in comic #546 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0546.html). Deep cut in this case refers to a very obscure call back, in case American English isn't your first language.

It is my first language and I wasn't even aware of that definition!

I had only seen it applied to lesser known songs. Good to see it has uses beyond that.

That strip had so many amazing jokes, from the MoI roast to the lampshade, to the "I liked it better my way." I didn't know why the goblin was blue before.
