Warlock as a Polymorph character?

Hello all, I was just wondering how everyone feels about a Warlock focused on Polymorph and True Polymorph? It doesn't seem to be entirely awful, then again it doesn't seem to be too spectacular either?

Focused how? Warlock gets either spell once per long rest. Not much to focus on.

Well crap, I misread that as I thought it Polymorph was on the base list, so that idea is dead...:(
