I am homebrewing some content, and for balancing purposes need to know:

The highest-strength animal (creature with beast tag) under CR 5
The highest-constitution animal under CR 5

Each of the above, but under CR 1/2

The largest animal under CR 1/2 and CR 5

The highest-speed animal und CR 1/2 and CR 5

My resources are poor atm so help is appreciated

I'm assuming this has something to do with Moon Druid Wild Shape?

Actually, an animal companion that can be improved. I just don’t want it to get ridiculous, so I’m looking at the maximums for level 1 and level 20

Strength: CR 5 Triceratops @ 22 STR or CR 4 Elephant @ 22. CR 6 Mammoth has 24 STR, but is CR 6.
CON: CR 5 Giant Shark @ 21

Size: Huge (lots of them, including most of the ones listed above).

Speed: 40' is really common. Giant Sharks have 50' swim. Giant vultures have 60' fly (CR 1), as do giant owls (CR 1/4). Giant eagles (CR 1) have 80' fly speed(!) Giant Elk (CR 2) have 60' land speed. Elk (CR 1/4) have 50' land speed.

Very useful! A good quick reference for my exact purposes!
