Yes, Rush is definitely my all-time favorite band. Just think about it...

Alex Lifeson-Plays with nearly unrivaled emotion, skilled technically, writes great riffs. Probably the most underrated guitarist ever, except maybe John McLaughlin.

Geddy Lee-Plays bass almost as well as Flea or John Entwhistle. Also sings and plays keyboards with his feet. Sometimes all at the same time.

Neal Peart-Awesome drummer, probably the greatest. Writes great songs with very intelligent, inspired lyrics(HYF). Writes books too. Good ones.

I rest my case, but feel free to discuss Rush here. I'm open to any argument.

Rush is indeed a wonderful thing to behold. I'd put them toe-to-toe against almost any band around. They don't quite take my top spot, but their in my Hall of Fame any day.

But since when is Flea famous for anything other than his image? Or, lacking that, his quasi-cameo in Chrono Trigger?

Flea? Let's see...

Influenced many notable bassists with his high-speed slapping and popping techniques, getting Jewel her big break, playing the trumpet...

Besides, even if he's not as well known as Lee or Entwhistle he's still a great bassist.

Rush: because squirrels need rock idols too.
