I kinda want to make a goblin druid, but i'm not sure which circle i should do. Obviously the moon druid is one of the best ones to jump on, but i was wondering if there were any other cool ones floating around in UA, homebrew, or something that would be worth balancing.

In Grod's Guide, I've got a Circle of Vermin-- it's kind of like the Moon Druid, only with giant bugs and more poison. Seems pretty fitting for a goblin...

LudicSavant listed a pretty darn cool one in this post near the bottom. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=23809998&postcount=14) Basically you stay in stealth, pop out to make whatever your action is, and then use your bonus action to Stealth again. A great use of this at low levels would be to throw down a Web spell, then use Thorn Whip to haul enemies into the Web and cause them to be lose actions while retrained and at disadvantage. It looks like a good, safe way to maximize the use from Concentration spells while keeping yourself hidden.

I've been playing a Spore Druid (https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/druid#CircleofSpores), and have really been having fun with it so far. Spore Zombies are fun!

I’ve missed your sarcasm, dude.

For a Goblin Druid, I personally like Shepard. This tiny creature that fights by summoning mountain lions and crocodiles and stuff has a certain appeal to me.

Honestly, of the official classes you are going to see the biggest boost from Goblins in the melee styles. So, you are looking at Moon and Spores. I feel like Moon would get a huge bonus from the bonus action disengage/hide, I certainly would have loved it on my current character.

If you are allowed homebrew, I did make an attempt at a Gishy Druid subclass that you can take a look at and make modifications with your DM until it seems appropriate for balance and the campaign (it still ends up being a fairly passive subclass in general, but you can make up for that with Druid spells). Thematically, it isn't on with a goblin, but it is a class that would benefit from the goblin racial abilities. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G4F3iu64LiQE_gd8Xp3ls3bDfXluR8ZDgypKtZDDZoU/edit?usp=sharing

Spore, vermin, and shepherd are definitely the ones that seem to fit my idea the best, I also looked through a bunch of subclasses on DnD Beyond and found two i really liked. A simple land druid could be cool too, anything shaman-like could also be cool.

Circle of Dragons definitely peaked my interest, but it'd need some tweaking downward I think. I think the best way to do that might be to compare its forms to the moon druid forms at that cr.

I also really liked Circle of Adaptation, they basically use wild shapes to do partial transformations that they can use in and out of combat. I think this needs a bit of a buff though to sit close to where bladesinger is, since that's probably the closest comparative archetype i can think of.

man, i'm just too indecisive. lol

Tied between shepherd —it’s just such a great circle anyway, but a goblin sending his animal minions in to fight while he hides in the back is awesome— and moon (bonus action disengage means you can focus on shapes with charge/pounce attacks; and at 10, fire elemental form + disengage = setting all your enemies on fire in one round).

Personally, I find shepherd to be more fun. But it’s a real close call.

Oh, and either way: Cast Awaken on a big ol leafy tree; let it be your mount. Thorn whip enemies up into the air (then let em fall) while you sit on a branch; hide in the dense foliage til your next turn.
