Hi everyone,

As the title suggests i am trying to get a build that would mimic the beloved Kotal Kahn in mortal kombat series.

Main things i want to have in the build, is to make him being able to take a hit, two handed weapon usage or bare handed fighting, minor magic usage (it may be it's not an essential) related to themes of blood, sun, war and str based damage. He is also able to transform into a panther in MK11 which is not a necessity in any way but it is still an option.

Don't really want to go for heavy armor unless it is going to be a huge impact on the defensive side (medium, light is ok) i know going for str usually means dumping dex or keeping it relatively low.

TL;DR

I want to mimic Kotal by making a beefy battler tied to the themes of blood sun war

If you guys can help me shape out a general knowledge for the class , feats, etc.. it would be well appreciated thanks :)

Not very familiar with Kotal Kahn, but I believe a bloodrager (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/hybrid-classes/bloodrager/) would suit pretty perfectly: highly Str-based, very durable, goes well with a two-handed weapon and/or unarmed, and for example the Prowler at the World's End (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/hybrid-classes/bloodrager/archetypes/paizo-bloodrager-archetypes/prowler-at-worlds-end-bloodrager/) archetype and eventually the Arcane bloodline can quickly turn into a panther, and it comes with minor magic. The "blood" and "war" themes basically comes with the class, and the sun theme can rather easily be added by simply adding a few suitable spells. For even more "bestial" flavor, combine with the Primalist archetype and add the effective Beast Totem line of rage powers (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/).

I believe there are many ways a bloodrager could achieve what you're looking for, which one is the most suitable is largely depending on the power level and (mechanical) combat role/function you're aiming for, and which aspects you'd like to emphasize.
