Your team walks into the room to see 5 large trees distributed evenly throughout the room, reaching almost all the way to the ceiling.

Perform any preparation you would like, start anywhere you would like, and when you're ready, take a round of actions (you win init).

Map is here. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KgaNlgKoFnLb2qTJHEBhu0ZdHNZTPuBKYFEiZCw4H8s/edit?usp=sharing)

"Doom, doom, doom!" Joshua hums as the gang gets ready. Each of them conjures an Earth elemental and then supplements their studded leather with a frigid mist.

"Carefully, now" Estron motions the others forward (elementals going first), before stepping in.

"At least there shouldn't be any dinosaurs, right?" Thumper winces.

As they enter, they warily look around the room.

Everyone casts Conjure Elemental and Armor Of Agathys prior to entering.

Estron moves to H1, Thumper to J1, Caladan to H3, Joshua to J3. The elementals move to E4, F4, O4, P4.

The elementals investigate the tree stands and (if allowed), ready an action to attack anything that comes out (they have tremor sense).

The Order of the Unicorn readies eldritch blasts to fire whenever the enemy shows themselves.

Estron:

The earth elementals flush out the enemies, as air elementals rush down from the treetops to defend the treants. Turn 2:

Joshua seems somewhat shaken as he is hit with a boulder to the face and then flung away from his compatriots.

"Alright, that's enough." His element folds in on itself as he dismisses it and reads from his scroll. "Lights out everybody!" A pool of darkness forms and envelopes his team. He speedily picks himself up and jogs into it.

The remaining elementals right themselves and lumber forward to attack even as blasts of magic force are heard in the darkness.

I forgot to say that they activated their boots before going in, but I hope you will allow that (it's a no brainer that costs nothing).

Elementals A and C fall, while D is looking worse for wear.

As the Order of the Unicorn vanishes into darkness, Treant 2 hurls a rock straight forwards at Thumper's last known position. Treant 3 and Air D concentrate fire on L3 and Treant 1 attacks L2, while Air Elementals B and E float through the edge of the darkness, looking for warlocks. They find Caladan and Joshua, respectively, and whirlwind.

The force bolts rip gashes in Treant 2's bark. It looks like it's starting to slow down, although it certainly still has plenty of fight in it. Air B manages to live another round, although just barely. Air E dodges around the Earth Elementals quite handily, taking minimal damage as the slams mostly pass through it.

Air B slaps at L2 weakly, trying to stay afloat. Air E whirlwinds L3 and L4 again. Air D wanders upwards until it finds a PC, whirlwinding Estron. Tree 1 moves to attack L2, and Tree 3 moves to attack L3. Tree 2 moves into the darkness and finds Estron, flailing branches at him in the darkness.

L3 manages to finish off Fire D, but is burned by such close proximity to the heat. The remaining Fire Elementals swarm on the darkness, spreading fire as they walk. Amidst all the smoke, a giant hand appears behind Joshua and tries to flick him into the lake. As it does, a tentacled monstrosity rises to the surface in the center of the pool, hissing and screeching.

L3 takes [roll]2d10[roll] fire damage. Feel free to redirect L4's attacks to a different elemental if you want. It'll take [roll0] fire damage if you do so.

Also, everyone in the fire takes [roll1] damage, and will take another [roll2] if they end their turn in it.

Under the onslaught, the creature screeches and throws up a magical shield around it, blocking all of the hits except for one of Joshua's beams. The darkness doesn't seem to faze the beast. It brings the hand around behind Joshua and attempts to chuck him into the lake again. At the same time, it arcs a lightning bolt through both Elementals and Estron.

The fire elementals swarm, burning the Order of the Unicorn once again.

Didn't draw the fire, but all of the PCs take [roll0] fire damage as Fire A walks through them.

L2, L4, and Estron take [roll1] lightning damage, DC 17 Dex save for half.

As the creature's shield starts to form, Joshua calls out. "Fraid not, fishy!" The shield fizzles.

Joshua takes a deep breath. "I was saving this for later... but CURSE YOU." His voice seems to echo oddly and fill the room. The elementals attempt to grapple the creature and drag it out of the water. Joshua speedily swims away from the creature on his turn (boots active).

I don't see fire, so I will keep them where they are. Otherwise, they try to move to a fire free spot (they have a lot of move).

Joshua casts a 5th level bestow curse on the sea creature. If the curse takes, the affect will be as follows: "While Cursed, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of its turns. If it fails, it wastes its action that turn doing nothing."

The rest of the group stands ready to counter spell anything it tries to cast.

One of the elementals manages to grab the creature and drag it a couple feet, but not all the way onto land. The monstrosity hisses and waves its tentacles around, trying to enchant the Order of the Unicorn. The Hand hovers around the pool, watching for the first victim to reach the water.

Elemental can drag the creature 10 ft, as it's speed is halved twice, both from the water and the grapple.

All members of the party (including the elementals, if they stay summoned) must make a DC 17 Wisdom save or be charmed by the creature for 1 minute. While charmed in this way, the victim tries to get as close to the creature as possible, using its actions to Dash until it is within 5 feet of the creature. A charmed target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns and whenever it takes damage. This breaks concentration.

The Hand targets the first PC to go into the pool (priority J>T>E>C). It will attempt a grapple with advantage ([roll0] or [roll1]) and if successful, will drag the target to the bottom of the pool.

L4 crumbles and the darkness fades as the enchantment takes effect.

Estron shakes his head as he sees Caladan and Joshua go slack jawed looking at the creature. "Oh boy..." He snaps his fingers and a globe of fire springs into existence and flies toward the fish. He sends bolts of force to accompany it.

Thumper looks at the besotted elemental. "Buddy, I know you're having a moment but could you take it out of the water?" The elemental lovingly cradles the creature even as it carries it out of the water. Thumper then follows up with more bolts of force.

Caladan and Joshua sprint around the water until they reach their beloved fish.

The Fire elementals swarm once again, engulfing everyone in fire.

Several figures file into the room and line up. In order, a paladin with a greatsword, itching for battle (A), a fighter with a glaive that moves so stiffly you could mistake him for a statue (B), and a spellcaster with a large staff scowling at the walls (C). Despite the fact that they're about to fight to the death, all of them are wearing identical shaded glasses, presumably for protection from the sun.

Behind them, a shadowy figure floats into place. He's wearing a very large black hooded robe, so you really can't get any information about him.

That's all flavor text, no hidden hints. I had a bit of fun making these guys.

The Order of the Unicorn takes several hours to pour 50 oil flasks on each square they expect the enemy to go. Just before the event starts, they set the oil alight, create an aura of sickening radiance, two walls of light and an aura of darkness. They then take their firing positions and prepare for the onslaught.

There are a few rules things that I'm not sure about, so I am going to take some conditional actions.

1. The green rectangle is the area for Sickening Radiance.
2. The orange/pink squares are filled with 50 oil flasks (each) and set alight (burn for 10 minutes). If the enemies take damage for each square they move through (like with lava), then they will leave it. Otherwise, they will also put caltrops on each of those squares (ironically, the healing thing makes it so I really don't want to slow them down if they take damage moving).
3. If walls of light are allowed to bend (rather than having to be straight, not sure if they are), then they make two walls of light to go with the fire in the light orange squares. If they are not allowed to bend, they instead summon 2 fire elementals and place them in blocking positions just out of the sickening radiance area.
4. The black area is a darkness spell centered on Estron.
5. I'm trying to rig the terrain so that the enemies have to take the path but my team can shoot at them while blocking their line of fire to the nexus. The black squares are suppose to be solid rock and I was thinking the rest of the terrain is 5 ft high if that is enough to keep them from climbing. There is a ramp near the team so that they can go up/down and take cover.

Can I get you to change the burning oil color to something else? It's very similar to the archer color.

None of the mobs can survive 50 HP for some time, so jumping you to the next boss. Assuming you decided to ready Eldritch Blasts, and took average damage.

The Order of the Unicorn keeps firing, pushing the beast back.

3 beams each (12 total). Each beam that hits knocks it back 10 ft (also applies to the readied shots). It is also slowed by 10 ft if any hit. The radius for sickening radiance is 30 ft, so it should be effecting him if he is in the area. If it affects him twice his speed is halved due to exhaustion. Thanks to the potent power of the Warlock’s Hexblade’s Curse, the Glabrezu was grievously hurt, almost took out entirely by the Order of the Unicorn’s Eldritch Blast barrage. But, it stood on its last vestiges of health and planned to ensure that it went down fighting.

It might not have been able to communicate directly with the two giants it had been forcefully partnered with, but its telepathy could still give them an impression of where the warlock’s stood, that they were in the middle of these roaming blots of darkness. Before they would move, however, the Glabrezu would take their action. Skirting around the stalagmites in order to approach and attack Joshua. A deadly double Multiattack with its Pincers... however, instead of attacking with its firsts, the cunning demon would use the power of its Innate Spellcasting to cast Power Word Stun against Estron. Hoping to set the Warlock up for the Giants to strike down.

And these giants ignored the stabbing pain of the stalagmites to move forward, closing the distance between themselves and Estron, Multiattacking him with their massive weapons, despite the blackness clouding their view.

The remaining team members bring out their familiars and heal during their rest. They then cast Freedom Of Movement (Trickster's Escape) on themselves, followed by drinking a potion of heroism and readying Finger of Death to be fired at the Death Tyrant as soon as he is seen.

I'm not sure how simultaneous readied actions triggering work, so let's do it in order of init. I believe that it will go:
1. Readied eye rays
2. Readied spells
3. Monster's turn

Estron Finger of Death Damage (Con save DC 18 to halve): [roll0]
Thumper Finger of Death Damage (Con save DC 18 to halve): [roll1]
Caladan Finger of Death Damage (Con save DC 18 to halve): [roll2]

The Death Tyrant would launch its Eye Rays at the Warlocks, first as a Readied Action, and then as its Normal Action afterwards.

DC 17 to all. If the Sleeping Ray or the Charm Ray effects Estron, then the follow Rays are against Thumper, who has -1 to all Saves.

Edit: All but the Death Ray were saved against. Meaning that Estron took 104 damage in total.

Once the Death Tyrant had taken its turn, Orcs 1 and 6 would unleash a powerful Battle Cry to empower their allies, before swinging their great axes against their chosen opponents. Orc 1 was targetting Caladan, with Orc 6 attacking Estron. Orc's 7 and 8 would use their Aggresssive nature to get behind the Warlocks, utterly ignoring the poisonous mould, to make their own Attacks, 8 against Thumper, 7 against Caladan. Orcs 4 & 5 would also Attack Thumper, with Orcs 2 & 3 Attacking Caladan.

Edit: Assuming no Shields are used. Thumper takes 4 hits. 3 of which are Critical hits and can't be negated with a Shield. He takes 93 damage regardless, 105 damage if he doesn't use Shield.

As for Caladan, he also takes 4 hits. Only 2 of them are Critical Hits, however. Meaning he only takes 45 damage regardless, and 68 damage if he doesn't use Shield.

The Orc Warlord's try to resist the powerful spell cast on them by the Warlocks.

You know you could have rolled the saves yourself right?

With the Darkness blocking its view, the Death Tyrant would be forced to float closer to everyone. Meanwhile, the non-paralyzed Orcs would Attack the heavily injured Thumper, with Orc War Chief 3 letting out a bellowing Battle Cry to invirogate his allies to ignore the Darkness with their attacks.

The Devastating blow from Orc War Chief 4 would send Thumper plummeting to the ground, unconscious. Freeing Orc's 2 and 7 from the spell that had been binding them. Not content to simply see Thumper unconcious, Orc 7 would swing at Thumper, while Orc 4 took a step back. Allowing Orc 2 to step around and attack Thumper as well. If Thumper was killed, then he would switch to Caladan.
