Looking at this class, and the aptitude focus says: Once per day, you can select one of five areas upon which to focus your ever-shifting talents. After meditating for 1 hour, you gain the chosen abilities for 24 hours or until you change your aptitude focus.

Let's say that you choose either (or both) aptitude(s) each evening before resting, then memorize your arcane and divine spells the next morning. That evening, you meditate for the hour before the 24 hours have lapsed, then choose the same aptitude(s).

Do you lose the memorized spells and have to rememorize them, or do you keep the memorized spells? If you keep them, I would assume they are kept until used or a 24 hour period lapsed without reselecting the same aptitude.

Metamagic feats are an interesting addition if the spells are kept. With the floating feat, you could select maximize spell, memorize spells with the feat, change to quicken and memorize other spells. You could repeat this as long as time is available and desired to prep for adventures.

Thoughts?

Seems like it would be easier to maintain the spells without losing them once you can adjust your aptitude twice per day.

If you do it mid-day, it's good for 24 hours, then 12 hours later you can do it again (to avoid the risk of the clock running out)

I imagine most DMs would be permissive and just let you "maintain" the aptitude as long as you did it roughly around the same time as the day before, without having to worry about finangling down to the minute, but as long as you maintain the spell slots, you shouldn't lose any prepared spells.
