It seems like the answer to this is no as mind blank says your are immune to divination spells, but I was wondering if there was some exception I am missing if the spell is a self buff. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Reasonable DM says sure, that's fine, but you won't have advantage against anyone protected by Mind Blank, or impose disadvantage on their attacks. They don't show up on your future-radar. It's like atium vs. atium (Mistborn).
