If you have advantage with elven accuracy, you get to reroll 1 die. (still only have 2 dice)

Then you can burn a lucky to roll a 3rd die and pick the best of those 3. (using the original version of lucky, not the nerfed option from sage advice)

so effectively best of 4 dice, right?

am i missing a rule interaction?

Thats the way it works, but it is't a good idea.

Elven accuracy is good for a crit fishing build because it is passive and doesn't require any resources.

Realistically however, if you have advantage and already missed three times it is probably because your modifier is too low or their AC too high and burning a luck point for one more roll isn't likely going to change the result.

Basically, don't crit fish with luck points, save them for times where they will make a difference.

then again if you already happen to have both feats and happen to roll two 2's and a 4 for your attack rolls, maybe spending a luck point may be worth it. I wouldn't invest much in a build towards it, but if you already have it may as well use it.
