Holy Symbols: can they be Created/Crafted on the quick?

My Cleric/Radiant Servant (Lathander) has found himself both deep in a 3.5 version of the original Temple of Elemental Evil and bereft of his only Holy Symbol. As you can imagine, casting as gotten a bit harder and he sure would like to find the bastard that has it along with his armor, mace and shield. Time is short and the quicker he can get back to being more effective the better his chances.

Does anyone know if there are rules/guidelines or have any thoughts on what would need to be done to Create or Craft a replacement that would be suitable as a Devine Focus?

Crafting rules. Holy Symbol is 1gp. It's a simple item so DC10. Using rules for days instead of weeks, 1 x 100 = 100cp. If you take 10 with a craft skill of 0, 10 x 10 = 100, 100/100 = 1, therefore it will take you 1 full day of crafting with a craft skill of 0 to create a Holy Symbol.

There's a cantrip called conjure holy symbol that creates a holy symbol for you for 1round/level.

As a stop-gap, there is the Summon Holy Symbol spell 0-level spell in Complete Champion.

A wooden holy symbol costs 1gp, so should be a relatively easy Craft (woodworking) check.
