Regarding Minor Ring of Storing

Im abit confused how many spells the ring can hold is it;

max 3 spells regardless of spell level
or
any quantity of spells as long as the spell levels added together

does not exceed 3

From reading this, it sounds like that's there to prevent someone from loading it with infinite 0th level spells, but forgot that usually 0th counts as 1/2 a spell level for maths in most other 3.5 stuff.

So, you could have:

1 x 3rd level spell in it.

or

2 x 1st level, 1 x 0th level

or

3 x 1st level

or

1 x 2nd level + 1x 1st level

or
1 x 2nd level , 1x 0th level

or
3x 0th level

Any number of spells, so long as the total of the levels of those spells doesn't exceed 3.
