Looking for a thread about background/class combos

I was reading a thread here the other day with a list of classes, under each of which was every PHB background, followed by a paragraph of sample backstory that explained and justified the class/background pairing. I can't remember what link I followed to get there, and it doesn't seem to be in the guide compendium. Can anyone help?

Looked for titles with:
Background + Guide
Background + Class

Looked for threads that included several class names and background names (so threads that contained the words Criminal, Sage, Ranger and Rogue).

Nothing came up that matched what you're describing.
