Multiple Animal Companion progressions from the same class

I was looking at the Inquisitor, and realized that a Sacred Huntmaster can pick the Animal Domain, getting one Effective Druid Level of Inquisitor lv., and one of lv. -3. What happens by RAW? I think they stack, so EDL for one companion = Inquisitor lv. *2 - 3 after 4th.

No. The AC rules (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/druid/animal-companions/) say (my emphasis):

"The druid’s class levels stack with levels of any other classes that are entitled to an animal companion for the purpose of determining the companion’s statistics."

The inquisitor in your example doesn't have any levels in any other classes.
