Blink spell and sight

So the Blink spell states that sight on the material plane is limited to 60 ft. while under the effects of the spell, but how would vision work while ethereal? I'm having trouble finding any guidance on distance of sight on the Ethereal plane, and also pose this question: if a creature is limited to the material plane, do they show up on the ethereal radar, so to say?

That limitation is a factor of being on the ethereal plane. You can see 60ft around you on the material plane while on the ethereal, but you can see infinite distance on the ethereal plane as normal, arguably minus any physical obstructions that are present on the material plane within 60ft
