What if, instead of fighting ( almost ) naked, Biggrin bore a thick, solid wooden shield and wore a simple armor made of padder leather reinforced with bone plaques? ( so we stay into stone-age level tech )
The hammer blow to the head would had been at least blunted by the helmet, the knives thrown by Drizzit would had not pierced the cuirass therefore the subsequent blow of Aegis Fang would had not plunged the blade into Biggrin's heart ( also, Biggrin could sacrifice the shield to block that last blow and save himself a bronken rib ).
Could he won, fighting more cautiously?
