Hello Playground,
Had a strange discussion that lead to this weird thought: Is there a way to build Unity in D&D 3.5? For anyone unfamiliar with the entity known as "Unity" from the Rick and Morty franchise they are a hive mind of sorts. A single consciousness that is spread throughout multiple bodies all linked in real time all with Unity's complete consciousness. It's not an insect hivemind with a queen (as far as we've seen) or anything like that. More specifically, could an adventurer (any class) accomplish the same state of being by level 20?
The idea came about for a character that after wanted to explore different bits of life, lifestyles, etc and in doing so could drop duplicates (or something?) of themselves that could go do this but allowing the collective to learn from it all. All while the original could still do their crafting or brooding alone in a high tower or adventuring or whatever it is they're doing at level 20.
Basically any first party allowed, no epic and no divine rank cheese. Otherwise, everyone else is up for grabs. Is something like this possible?
