Lina Inverse (Slayers) build

I want to know hoe to build a character of the likes of Lina Inverse from Slayers. She’d without a doubt be a Chaotic Neutral Sorcerer (Wild Magic(?)), but I need some advice for both flavor and optimization.

I disagree, though I can see why you picked it. But, Lina Inverse is actually very studious and interested in the details of how magic works. So, I say: Evoker Wizard. It also fits the fact she knows a TON of spells, even if she usually only casts her favorites.
