I was wondering if anyone knows what happens if you hit an enemy with an attack and he uses Parry or the Shield spell. Will a Divine Sorcerer be able to use the "Favored by the Gods" ability to try and counteract that? it clearly says on the ability "If you fail a saving throw or miss with an attack roll, you can roll 2d4 and add it to the total, possibly changing the outcome" and you just missed the attack roll when the enemy used Parry/Shield.

Yes, they turned your hit into a miss which qualifies you to use Favored.
