Level up advice?

I have a Mtn. Dwarf Battlemaster/Thief 5/5. DM told us to level up before next session. My plan was originally to go Fighter 6 and take Sentinel, then Res. Wis at F8.
This DM doesn’t usually throw mental saves at us, and there are a Bard and a Druid in the party.

However.
We’ve just pursued a new story arc and the first 2 encounters have been Cranium Rats and then an Aboleth, so I’m kinda thinking I should reverse that feat order.

What do y’all think?

In general, I’ve found saves start becoming more important in tier 3 especially since the DCs start to get toward the high teens 17-21 in some cases. Sentinel can be nice on a rogue since it can sometimes trigger a second sneak attack .. but resilient wis might be the better choice if you are in the front lines and can find yourself targeted by spells.
