(PF) Magus - Spellstrike and Tidal Blade

I'm playing a path of war / magus multiclass. Its weird and suboptimal, I know, just go with it.

Just wanted to double check how a touch spell and the mithral current manouvre Tidal Blade would interact.
Tidal Blade says you hit two targets in reach with one attack.
So lets say you are holding a shocking grasp that you missed with on a previous round, would both targets also get shocking grasped?

I would assume not but am unsure.

No. Based on the rules for holding the charge, it discharges on the first enemy you touch; and Shocking Grasp is a single-target spell.

However, if you're using Frostbite or Chill Touch, then this would work.

Also, I don't know if you're already going for it, but the Bladecaster Prestige Class is pretty rad and can help with the weirdness. Sorry for the unsolicited advice if that was your plan~

Chill touch will give you CL targets if you can provide the attacks.
