Playing a level 10 Half -Orc Hinyasi Brawler and taking the Shikigami Style line of Feats (Taking all 3) Taking the half - Orc FCB so My Unarmed Damage counts as if i was level 12

what is my improvised weapon DMG?

Effective Brawler level of 12 means 2d6 increased three times by the style, thus: 2d6 (base) -> 3d6 -> 4d6 -> 6d6.

That's 3.5's progression, not Pathfinder's.

That’s pathfinders size progression too, mate. If base weapon size is 2d6, then up three is 6d6.

I’ve seen some people claiming that the phrasing in that class *sets* your damage to your unarmed strike progression. And that that applies after any other effects, making the style worthless in them.

Which if you check it out, for increasing on that chart it sez to go up 2 steps, from 2d6 goes to 3d6, then from 3d6 to 4d6, then 4d6 to 6d6 which is what she said in the first place. yes it is confusing for the chart to do half steps then tell you to do two of them

{scrub the post, scrub the quote}

Love it when somebody is so inept they argue about an easily Google-able fact that they don't bother to thoroughly read.

"If the size increases by one step, look up the original damage on the chart and increase the damage by two steps.
...
2d6
2d8
3d6
3d8
4d6
4d8
6d6"

3 steps from 2d6 is 6d6.
2d6 > 3d6 > 4d6 > 6d6"

Yeah, they intertwined the d6 and d8 progressions, which only ever interact if you're small enough to begin with.

You know, I was not quite sure myself before I posted, so I googled that exact same thing to make certain how it works and yet here we are anyway. Funny that.
