At 19th level, most classes get an ASI and a mid-level spell slot; a plurality get a little on top of that.
Therefore, some classes deserve a bonus feature with value comparable to a 5th level spell per day.
Barbarian
ASI only
Fighter
ASI only
Monk
ASI, ki point
Warlock
ASI, spell known
Rogue
ASI, 1d6 sneak attack
Bard
ASI, 6th level slot
Paladin
ASI, 5th level slot
Cleric
ASI, 6th level slot, spell prepared
Druid
ASI, 6th level slot, spell prepared
Ranger
ASI, 5th level slot, spell known
Sorcerer
ASI, 6th level slot, sorcery point
Wizard
ASI, 6th level slot, spell prepared
Adding a half ASI allows the character to either bump up an odd stat to a break point, or take a half feat like Athlete or Observant while still gaining +2 to stats.
Barbarian: Either increase an ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20, or increase an ability score by 2, to a maximum of 14.
Fighter: Your ability score increase can increase Strength or Constitution beyond 20. If you do not do so, increase an ability score by 1, to a maximum of 18.
Monk: Increase an ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Warlock: Increase an ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Rogue is a borderline case; +1d6 damage per turn (sometimes none without a melee partner, sometimes 2 per round with an opportunity attack) is a bit weaker than a 3rd level Hunter's Mark. They get a ribbon.
Rogue 19: Either gain a language proficiency, or gain two proficiencies with gaming sets or instruments.
