Has anybody made a deck that uses "Sky Swallower" effectivly?
I've been trying to figure out a use for it for a while.

I know of this card, but not that much. I'll check with my uber-1337 friend.

Also, you might want to specify that this is MTG you're talking about in the thread, or it's a bit confusing.

Ben Bleweiss made a deck that was designed to abuse it a while back. Something about nobody having permanents or you having permanents that you didnt want anyway. I didn't really pay attention because Ben is kind of annoying sometimes.

I remember a deck by john matthis that used it, bronze bombshell, and that coldsnap upkeep necropotence. Draw some cards, get out bombshells, and then give it to them for a lot of damage. Not sure if I can find the list, but I'll try.

Edit: Nope forums ate it.

Well, you can play it with Delusions of Grandeur....

^That would work, wouldn't it? Kinda tricky, but it would work. One problem being how to pay the Cumulative upkeep on turn five, but if you hold of to turn six, then you can use Ur-Golem's eye (http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/index.aspx?term=Ur-Golem&Field_Name=on&Field_Rules=on&Field_Type=on&setfilter=All%20sets) to pay that.
Or Braid of Fire (http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/index.aspx?term=&Field_Name=on&Field_Rules=on&Field_Type=on&setfilter=Coldsnap&colorfilter=Red&typefilter=Enchantments). Then you play the swallower, and now you have to wait for a bit. Problem would be that the other guy then has all your lands, but then, you could suspend a few Greater Gargadons (http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/index.aspx?term=Greater%20Gargadon&Field_Name=on&Field_Rules=on&Field_Type=on&setfilter=Time%20Spiral&colorfilter=Red&typefilter=Creatures) and sac as much as you can before they come into play to early.
