We are playing Storm King's Thunder and my players just got the Opal of the Ild Rune and we are wondering if we use its transfer property into a glaive if the bonus attack granted by the the Polearm Master feat would also receive the bonus fire damage.

For those unaware this is the Ild Rune effect when transfered to an weapon:
Weapon. The weapon is now an uncommon magic weapon. It deals an extra ld6 fire damage to any target it hits.

And a reminder of the feat:
When you take the Attack action and attack with only a glaive, halberd, or quarterstaff, you can use a bonus action to make a melee attack with the opposite end of the weapon. The weapon's damage die for this attack is a d4, and the attack deals bludgeoning damage.

Thanks!

If it's an attack made using the weapon, it gains that extra damage. Polearm Master would benefit.

Also, if I remember the Ild rune correctly, and in addition to the BA 1d4 Attack benefiting from the 1d6 Fire damage; the weapon does not require Attunement.
