what is SR?

i feel dumb for asking, but I don't know and cant find it. the context is, in the poisons section of the BoVD there is a poison that damages SR and says SR recovers at the same rate as ability score damage. idk what SR is.

bear in mind Im just now learning poison stuff, bc a new player to my group wants to b a poison specialist.

Without context, I can only guess, but I suspect they mean Spell Resistance.
