3.0 Free Action Sor/Wiz Damaging Spell from WotC's site: What was the name?

I recall there being on Wizards.com a 3.0 Sor/Wiz spell that, as a free action, did a small amount of energy damage (like 1 per caster level). I don't recall the name and link. What and where was it?

Edit: Do note it should be updated to a swift action casting time as it was written before swift actions existed to my knowledge. Hence the reference about counting against the number of quickened spells in a round.

also, it does a max of 5 damage, but of whatever elemental type when you cast it. 5 fire, or 5 cold, etc etc. still useful for setting things on fire, freezing, melting, etc. it's a great spell to really roleplay with as it's only really limited by your imagination
