The goal of this design is to lean into the bard's support role heavily while foregoing its added damage or utility potential.

4 class features are being replaced: magic secrets x3 and superior inspiration.

Mass inspiration: by 7th level you can inspire many with a single refrain. When you use bardic inspiration, you may instead choose up to three creatures other than yourself within 30 feet of you who can hear you. Those creatures each gain one Mass Inspiration die (MID), a d4. MID rules are identical to Bardic Inspiration Dice (BID) rules. The only difference between the two is such succeed die you use. MIDs become d6s when you reach 15th level.

Song of Vigor: by 11th level your Song of Rest has become inspiring as well as soothing. You or any friendly creatures who can hear your profile can choose to spend a single hit die to gain a MID instead of regaining hit points at the end of a short rest.

Enduring Inspiration: by 18th level, your inspiration lingers in the hearts of your fellows as they triumph. If a creature rolls a 6 with your MID or an 8 or higher with your BID, it does not lose the die and may use it again. Dice are still lost after 10 minutes and a creature may only have one die at a time.

Critical Inspiration: by 20th level, you intuit the most powerful words for critical moments. Once per long rest, you may grant a Critical Inspiration die (CID) when you use Bardic Inspiration. To do so, use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains a CID, a d12. When a creature rolls a critical inspiration for and succeeds as a result, their success is treated as a critical success. After you roll a CID, it is immediately lost.

Additionally, when you roll initiative with no uses of Bardic Inspiration left, you immediately regain one use.

I'm also thinking about expanding the bard's use of the help action, like allowing the help action at any range if the bard succeeds on a performance check, or allowing it if the bars spend s certain number of rounds only helping instead of taking any actions.
