Any thoughts thanks

Looking at a Dragonborn warrior or barbarian with more warlock want. Pact blade and hurl through hell.
I know his low cha would ruin life drinker and
EB would not really be key as low cha to hit. Instead he would be melee oriented.

I was thinking lvl 2 warrior gets con save armor action surge and lvl 18 warlock fiend false life, dark ones blessing , fiendish resilience would give (2) 1- dragonborn and at 14 hurl through hell.
Invocations: devils sight Eldritch smite
Thirsting blade 2 attacks.

Barbarian. Bear 6/ warlock 14
Does mage armor work ?

S14(16), I 8, W 12, D 10, Co 15, Ch 13(14)

1. Warrior 2/ blade lock x

2. Warrior 2/ hexblade x

3. Barb x / hex blade x ?
Barb 6/ pact blade 14 fiend

I’m not sure I fully understand so I’ll just look at the Mage Armor question.
Yes, Mage Armor works while you rage.
No, I wouldn’t recommend it. You have medium Armor proficiency and 13+DEX translates to 13 with those stats.

Sorry.
I’m asking which options might be best and
As for barbarian if mage armor invocation would be good

Not with 10 dex.

Mage armor isn't a bonus to AC, it over write it.

Do you have other questions?

Personally, I wouldn't go with Dragonborn. IMO, one of the best perks for a dragonborn is their resistance to an element, something you won't be using with Bear Totem covering your resistances.

I would instead suggest a Variant Human or a Fallen Aasimar, gaining Str and Cha, but also getting other benefits as well.

Ah, see your point on resistance. Thanks.
