Many have pointed out that the double scimitar and Revenant Blades are better than TWF and Dual Wielder. What occurred to me is that these two together are almost exactly the same thing as TWF but with better mechanics.
Couldn't we just replace the TWF rules with the double scimitar and Revenant Blades rules?
TWF: When wielding two one handed weapons (light not required), you may use 2d4 in place of your normal weapon dice when making an attack with one of those weapons. If you take the Attack action and are wielding two one-handed weapons, you can spend a bonus action to make one attack with either weapon, but the weapon dice changes to 1d4.
Dual wielder: becomes half feat, allows 2d4 bonus action, adds +1 AC.
Fighting style: removed, great weapon fighting now applies to two weapon fighting as well.
