Changelings, Racial Emulation feat and Yuan-ti Cultist

So this is probably a stupid question but if i were a Changeling with the racial emulation feat would i be able to emulate a yuan-ti for the yuan-ti cultist prc?
or would that not work because a yuan-ti is a monstrous humanoid?

The feat is clear about it: it allows a changeling to emulate humanoid subtypes when minor shape-changed into a humanoid race.

"Humanoid" is strictly defined within the rules. Monstrous humanoid is a different creature type; they cannot be emulated by a changeling with this feat, even if within their size range.
