Greetings,
I have an NPC (conjurer 5 / malconvoker 4, so CL 8th) who is going to cast a calling spell. I'd like him to cast planar ally or planar binding to acquire a particular 15 HD demon servitor. (He'll be using a scroll.)
Unfortunately, both planar ally and planar binding only work on 12 HD or less creatures. He has the Infernal Bargainer feat, so that gets him to 14 HD. I'm still 1 HD short. Is there any way to get those spells to 15 HD without waiting for malconvoker level 8?
I'd prefer not to have him need a scroll of greater planar ally or greater planar binding, which would obviously also work, albeit at greater risk of failing.
He does have spellcasting allies, if some sort of circle magic would do the trick.
