Since these requests have been popping up in the main WOW thread for a while, I figured a separate thread would be useful.

She's my first Hunter on WoW, so I'm not sure where I am equipment-wise (in terms of how far behind the curve she is).

I'd also run ZF to replace one of those rings with the Mason's Fraternity Ring. The Divinomatic Rod quest gives a reward that I personally didn't swap out until I ran UBRS and got the nice crit strike rings.

Interesting talent division. Were it me, I'd drop the imp conc. shot and put the points into efficiency or imp. mark to get to the Aimed Shot. Either would have a bit more utility IMO. Me, I would've gone full Beast Mastery first to get Beast Within (which is just sick), but it's a fairly solid build all around. It's just really time to upgrade the gear.

Heh. My instance group is scheduled to go do that on Tuesday. We went last week, but somehow I managed not to get the quest (*smack* Stupid troll!), but since we're going back for the Godzilla Clone of Doom, I'll see about just freeing the prisoners again.

Hmmm...interesting advice on the talents. My group had a pure-spec MM hunter already, so I wanted just enough MM talents to get Aimed shot for when I solo, and slot the rest into BM.

If I drop ImpConcShot, will there be any practical difference in the ConcShot proc rate? ConcShot always seemed to stun the target anyway...

EDIT: Oh, how long should I be keeping those enchanted Petrolspill Leggings? I'm getting 24 Ag and 36 Sta out of them, even if they're leathers. How long will it take to get a set of mail that'll be better than those?

Eh? Say wha?

Concussive shot will always DAZE, i.e. slow the target to 50% movement speed. It will only STUN, i.e. prevent them from doing anything at all except stand there, when you have improved concussive shot. You'll see an additional swirly debuff icon under the target portrait if it procs. (unless they changed the icon recently. They might have.)

Presonally, I took Efficiency over Imp. Concussive Shot, mostly because I was running out of mana a lot. Are you finding yourself low on mana and having to drink often while grinding? Then I'd say Efficiency is for you.
