I'm just starting a new campaign with a completely new group. This one's in the Forgotten Realms, which means that I've got a lot of history and whatnot to work with.

I'm setting the campaign in Tethyr.

So, my question: where can I find information about the region and it's history? The page and a half I get in the Setting Sourcebook isn't enough.

Also, is there a more detailed readout about the different gods and religions?

As far as deities, look for Faiths and Pantheons. I don't remember whether it's 3.0 or 3.5, but that's not really important.

Cheers, indeed! Thanks!

Now, I just need to figure out what happened in the intervening couple of years between 2nd and 3rd edition.
