So I made this list (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=20014038&postcount=6) a while, ago, and have been updating it, but I thought it probably deserves a thread of it's own.

The most recent additions I made are of the CD web enhancement PrCs that don't get reprinted elsewhere (Moon Guardian and Nightcloak), which got me thinking: are there other web enhancements that contain PrCs that aren't in any books?

Please feel free to contribute anything and everything not already on the list.

Added. And as a massive Greyhawk fan, thank you! I was unaware of this one.

There is absolutely no reason for the alignment prerequisite on the Avenger. Especially given that all of the flavor text is... non-Lawful, to say the least.

Warlord of the Utterdark link doesn't work.

You are not listing the dweomerkeeper, that belongs to the same CD web-enhancement, and didn't get reprinted afterwards. I guess it may make sense to include it here.
The other dweomerkeeper that was described in faiths and pantheons is actually 3.0 and therefore older.

Ah, good to know. Yes, I was leaving it off because of the F&P version.

Updated.

I'm surprised no other web enhancement included PrCs... :smallannoyed:

Why do you think the avenger is possibly a joke class vs just another poorly written one?

Thurbane, have I told you that I love your lists? The amount of effort you put into them really shows.

That PrC is... painful. A list of five skills. An age requirement on top of a regional and gender requirement. Weird janky self-granted casting. Bizarre class features.

I love it and hate it at the same time.

Well, it gets Mind Fog as a 4th-level spell. That's... something? It means you can stick it on a wand at least...

Yep. It's basically an Assassin, with different alignment and fluff reqs. Even the artwork is an assassin.

It's an article published in response to all those people who feel that there is justification of non-evil assassins.

honestly i never thought of unprinted or unupdated classes before, cuz WotC has a list of presige classes that number in the 100s, (i think 700-ish) all listed on their website in their final form (Insert this isn't even my final form joke here)

I don't want to keep beating this drum in this thread, but does anyone else love the fact that their response to people bitching about their stupid, arbitrary alignment restrictions is to give them alternatives with different stupid, arbitrary alignment restrictions?

Oddly the original OD&D assassin was Neutral rather than evil. Sort like the Terry Pratchett joke: “We don’t kill for ideologies or causes. We kill for money. And because we value life we kill for a lot of money.” I am paraphrasing, so might have that wrong.

And then book of exalted deeds gives us Slayer of Domiel (could be wrong on the name) a goody-goody not-assassin.

And then book of exalted deeds gives us Slayer of Domiel (could be wrong on the name) a goody-goody not-assassin.

And Champions of Ruin of all things, gives us Assassin-wannabe Justice of Weald and Woe, that, strangely enough, has no alignment pre-reqs.

There's also Black Dog (Dragonmarked), Cultist of the Shattered Peak (LEoF), Dark Hunter (CW) and Darkwood Stalker (CW) who have no alignment reqs; and Imaskari Vengeance Taker (Und) who must be lawful.

For completeness' sake, one should add Stonedeath Assassin (RoS) - no alignment req, Monk of the Long Death (PGtF) and Black Flame Zealot (CD) - both any nongood.

PS: Sorry for hijacking this thread for a list of assassin-wannabe PrCs. Back to Online PrCs...
