A weekend trip is putting me on a bit of a time crunch to get ready for my Monday game, so if there's a preexisting list of good low level spells that would save me a bunch of time.

D&D 3.5 I'm guessing? If so, Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards (http://web.archive.org/web/20150401154620/http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=394.0) rates all the spells, sorted by school and level. Just choose the best rated from each level and school.

Alternatively, if you're playing Pathfinder (D&D 3.75), Prof Q's Wizard Guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mmafMuRRd3ubCMhCNmOomLUn_YvaVXiHwSyuC1YDrNc/edit) is the equivalent to the above guide.

Thank you this is exactly the kind of I was looking for. I figured someone must have done it, but my google-fu was failing me.
