My player (wizard) is binding energon atm, but it has no speech to comunicate and planar manual characterize it as
Some powerful necromancers and clerics capture
energons, using them to guard a location, assist in a ritual,
or strengthen undead minions. When freed, xag-yas and
xeg-yis express gratitude by healing their rescuers or
fighting on their behalf.
Xag-yas and xeg-yis do not speak, even among
themselves. Their feeding and reproductive habits remain
unknown.
So i have 2 questions
1) Does a circumstance bonus +0>+6 appeal to opposed check of the creature? Because it is clearly unwilling to bind.
2) How does my player communicate the nature of service and put commands to creature lately?
Any DM's tips and comments about planar binding are also welcome, because i am novice in binding and want to know more about it.
