A bit generic, but I rather wanted to set up a college with bonuses for some of the minor bardic abilities.

Flight Song
When you gain this college at 3rd level, you unlock the secrets of flight. A creature can expend a Bardic Inspiration die you have granted it as a bonus action, gaining a 30 foot flight speed for a number of rounds equal to the result of the roll. If the creature is in the air at the end of its turn when it loses this flight speed, it takes fall damage as normal.

You also learn to communicate with birds and other flying creatures. You can communicate simple ideas with beasts that can fly. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return.

Freeing Melody
From 3th level, a creatures healed by your song of rest feature can make an additional saving throw against one poison, disease, or status effect it would typically be able to make a saving throw for. The creature does not take any penalty (such as accruing an additional failure on an affliction requiring three successes or failures before having an additional effect) for failing this save.

Additionally, creatures can regain hit points from your song of rest feature multiple times per short rest. Each creature subject to your song of rest feature gains additional hit points as normal for the first hit die it spends, as well as for every two additional hit dice the creature spends.

Active Countercharm
Starting at 6th level, you can use your countercharm feature as a bonus action.

Aerial Serenade
At 14th level, you gain the ability to sprout a pair of feathered wings from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last until you dismiss them as a bonus action on your turn.

You can't manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.

I'm not sure the healing song buffs are clearly written, but I'm mostly happy with the rest of this.

Edits: freeing melody and active countercharm have been switched.

I think the 3rd and 6th level abilities should probably be switched. Most dms don't want people flying at level 3... I like the idea in general.. But what if I wanted bat wings at lv 14 :c
Maybe at level 3 they get feather fall at will instead... I dunno

I don't understand why flying is considered game breaking at low levels. Indoors the PC just avoids some traps, and you can give enemies ranged weapons while outside. At 1-6 rounds usable a maximum of 5 times (assuming 20 Cha, so 3 times is more likely) I think it's fairly weak.

Bats aren't typically associated with music, which is why I specified bird wings. A Divine Soul sorcerer can get bat wings though, if you're evil or chaotic.

Because dms want puzzles like pits and things early on. It's fine if dm plans for it, but a lot of dms dont want to have to mess with it.
